inkAID Image Transfers on handmade, embossed flax paper, some with inclusions. An original series of beautiful and unique mixed media pieces. We rarely encounter hand made papers of this quality combined with image transfers or direct inkjet printing.

As a paper maker myself, I can appreciate the skill required to make these papers, not to mention shooting the original photos and then transferring the images. Well done!

Lucy Cobos. “Invitation”

A beautiful inkAID image transfer of Lucy’s original photography on an encaustic wax surface. The process involves painting pigmented encaustic bees wax onto a cradled wood panel prepped with encaustic gesso.

Renee De Gagne. Évolution Urbaine - Paris (44 x 22). A wonderful “ink-jet Gampi transfer” piece combining Renee’s original photography with several other processes. Renee starts with a canvas base to which acrylic medium or gesso is applied to build up texture on the surface and then sanded smooth.
