Posted on April 10 2024
Lucy Cobos. “Invitation”
A beautiful inkAID image transfer of Lucy’s original photography on an encaustic wax surface. The process involves painting pigmented encaustic bees wax onto a cradled wood panel prepped with encaustic gesso.
Following several layers of wax, the image transfer is applied on top. After drying, the piece is finished with one coat of Golden gloss varnish followed by one coat of Golden matte varnish.
